The delegation of the Upper Chamber of the Russian Federation Parliament observes the first round of presidential elections in Ukraine on behalf of the CIS IPA.
During the meeting, O.Bilorus dwelled upon the priority areas of development of Ukrainian-Russian bilateral relations, stressed the necessity of its further intensification on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation. The Committee Chairman underscored mutual concern with the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation. He also briefed on the activity of the parliamentary cooperation groups of both countries and Ukraine-Russia Inter-Parliamentary Commission.
A. Molchanov stated that bilateral relations between Ukraine and Russia were of great potential and envisaged prospective development. He also expressed his hopes for further fruitful cooperation.
